Methodist Healthcare System wants you to have the answers you need to make the best decisions about your pregnancy, labor & delivery, postpartum care, and most importantly—your new baby.
So, we’re providing BabyTalk—pre-recorded information messages available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can access these simply by using a touch-tone phone to dial the appropriate code listed below for the topic you wish to hear. Each topic has a one to three minute pre-recorded message to answer questions you may have.
BabyTalk is a special part of the Methodist AdviceLine. Call (210) 377-2MHS or 1-888-883-HEALTH.
Here's how it works:
- Dial (210) 377-2MHS anytime, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Listen to the message and follow the instructions to access BabyTalk.
- When requested, enter the four-digit number for the topic you would like to hear.
- At the end of the message, you can enter additional topic numbers to hear more messages. There is no need to hang up and dial again.
- If you need help using the system, enter "1000" as the four-digit topic number and you will receive complete information.

[2] BACK: To repeat a message, press “2” You can do this at any time during the message.
[4] CANCEL: If you want to cancel the number you are entering, press “4” and then enter another number.
